Stop. It's Peplum Time.

I've decided to slowly work my way through this season's new trends, beginning with the peplum. For those of you who are not sure of what I'm talking about, I'll give you the rundown. A peplum gives a little extra umph to any outfit and is so "in" right now. It's a flirty, flouncy, and fun addition, but it also works well as a built in napkin if you spread it out, which came in handy on my picnic this past weekend. 

I was lounging in the grass with sunnies and my sun hat on, when the traveling circus showed up! Just kidding, it was just a trapeze school. But hey, they're pretty good!

Shine Your Pearly Whites

Sometimes I find it hard to figure out what goes with these shorts because, even though you can't tell in the picture, the pattern is in a distinct off-white colors rather than pure white. Usually I pair it with a tan or beige shirt and gold accessories, but this time I decided to switch it up. Since my jewelry is pearl with little bits of silver, I think it works because the silver isn't too much (except my shoes).

So I was all like hmm I'm dressed for the rain though...
