Third and final stop on my spring break trip, Sullivan's Island, SC. I enjoyed a couple of leisurely days on the beach gettin my tan on. Since when did lighthouses stop looking like lighthouses and start looking like ugly black rectangles? I'm not sure, but I loved how it is so windy down there that these trees have begun to grow sideways. I didn't love getting caked in sand so much, I felt like I had a second layer of skin...Anyways, I'm back to reality now working hard until my day of freedom: June 15th! It's 47 days away but who's counting...

Sorry I've been MIA lately...but I've been caught up with school work, etc. Anyways, these are a continuation of my Spring Break trip I posted about last. Here I am on Rainbow Row in Charleston, a street famous for its colorful houses! I love all of the architecture down there, and I was really inspired by all of the unique window and door displays.

Charleston Photo Diary pt. One

  

First: Zara tank, Camaieu shorts, Vera Bradley watch and lanyard (in watercolor) , Tiffany & Co. bracelet

Second: UO Silence & Noise top, H&M pants, Heritage chambray shirt (similar), Calvin Klein Chelsea crossbody 

First stop in Charleston, South Carolina was down by the water to see this awesome pineapple fountain. Psych anyone? But as we headed to Rainbow Row, a rainstorm caught us off guard and I got soaked to the bone. Still, the brightly colored houses made for a beautiful walk down the street. Luckily I dried enough before dinner to show off my new neon lace tube top--three things that I never imagined together--but it's my new fave summer piece.

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter on this beautiful spring day! I dyed these eggs last night, and the colors turned out more vivid than ever. I got the green tie-dye effect by lightly cracking an egg all over and let it sit in the dye for a while. When it is peeled, the egg itself will also be dyed!

Street Sense

Part one of my spring break journey--first stop in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Not exactly the most happenin' place in the country, but it has that certain homey and city feel at the same time. I loved all of the murals and artwork scattered on the streets; see me blooming among the flowers? I think I fit right in.
