One Year.

Happy Blog-o-versary to me! Happy Blog-o-versary to me!.... Okay that's as cheesy as it gets, but hey, I think I deserve it! I really can't believe it's been one whole year since I started this blog! The truth is I'm still learning a lot, so it's not like I can kick back and relax now, because this is just the beginning.

On a more important note, I've finally figured out another way to wear my chambray shirt! I think that I subconsciously believe that if I tuck in, knot up, or wear shirts backwards, people won't notice that I wear them so much. Hmm...there could be some truth to that, because for all you know, this might not be the same shirt I was wearing in the last post...

Anyway, I love walking around Georgetown at night because it's always so full of energy and life. Of course I made the ever-important stop at Georgetown Cupcake, but I'm pretty sure that goes without saying.

Austin Photo Diary

//Heritage chambray shirt//B.P. tee//B.P. leggings//Bensimon shoes//Fossil watch//Kipling backpack//

Just got back from an awesome trip to Austin, Texas with the fam. I mean the WHOLE fam--reunion style. It was so fun to vacation lakeside in such a lavish house, complete with secret passages and everything! I'll admit although it was stunning, who really needs 49 gold plated lions in their house? Well you know what they say, everything's bigger in Texas.

Please enjoy this musical selection to keep you in the southern mood, y'all.

xoxo

P.S. To all you Texas folk down there, take no offense, I'm still new to country music.

Charleston Photo Diary pt. Three

//Chambray shirt//F21 romper//Bensimon shoes//UO top//Camaieu shorts//

Third and final stop on my spring break trip, Sullivan's Island, SC. I enjoyed a couple of leisurely days on the beach gettin my tan on. Since when did lighthouses stop looking like lighthouses and start looking like ugly black rectangles? I'm not sure, but I loved how it is so windy down there that these trees have begun to grow sideways. I didn't love getting caked in sand so much, I felt like I had a second layer of skin...Anyways, I'm back to reality now working hard until my day of freedom: June 15th! It's 47 days away but who's counting...

Charleston Photo Diary pt. One

First: Zara tank, Camaieu shorts, Vera Bradley watch and lanyard (in watercolor) , Tiffany & Co. bracelet

First stop in Charleston, South Carolina was down by the water to see this awesome pineapple fountain. Psych anyone? But as we headed to Rainbow Row, a rainstorm caught us off guard and I got soaked to the bone. Still, the brightly colored houses made for a beautiful walk down the street. Luckily I dried enough before dinner to show off my new neon lace tube top--three things that I never imagined together--but it's my new fave summer piece.
