Homestead Photo Diary

//Loft sweater//Madewell maxi-sequin dress-necklace//vintage boots//Nordstrom jacket//Primark leggings//Cooperative wedges//

I spent winter break at The Homestead again this year; attending lavish parties, enjoying gourmet food, wearing strictly designer clothing.
Well maybe that's just how I imagined it.

I experimented with some new hairstyles and new colors! Instead of my boring day-to-day long hair, I tried out some up-dos like the milkmaid braid and the ballerina bun. Also, I stuck to a black palette which is really unusual for me. Here's to a new year and trying new things!

Why not?

"A crowded neck is a happy neck" - The Man Repeller. So why not pile on as many as you can?

I've decided that each month I'm going to to a post about the most recent Teen Vogue issue, as a form of inspiration slash information about the fashion world. I just love the way that they present the magazine in such a fun but informative way at the same time! Stay posted...

The Devil is in the Details

//Gap shirt//Madewell shorts//Enzo Angiolini sandals//Fossil watch//vinatge bag and watch//

Sometimes you just have one of those days, maybe you woke up on the wrong side of the bed, maybe you put your shirt on inside out, who knows. Can you guess which type of day I had? When I saw that I could read my shirt correctly in the mirror, I noticed something was up. That's when I realized how important the little details of life are! My favorite part of creating an outfit is choosing the accessories and styling the look because I really believe they can make or break an outfit. From now on I want to spend more time focusing on the smaller aspects of my outfit because I think they make all the difference. And if I do, maybe it will help keep me from looking like I got dressed in the dark. Which actually is what happened.
